Match giant Preston Innovations is delighted to announce the success of its latest media venture - revamping its already popular website.
The new site, which was launched on 11th March, received 5,750 hits that weekend with 76,000 page views.
"The effect was immediate," reveals Preston Innovations' Brand Manager Matt Hicks, who is thrilled with the new look website. "The hard work of the web-team is definitely taking effect."
With nearly half a million page views in just over four weeks, with almost 40,000 unique site visitors, the brand has enjoyed a 120 per cent upturn in hits compared their previous website. That was, however, just phase one of the UK's number 1 match fishing brand's plans for www.prestoninnovations.com. The innovative web-team at the Telford headquarters are busy continuously adding new features and content, a specialized FAQ section and much more.
"We're already compiling more material for the site as video content is certainly providing the most popular feature online," explains Matt. "As a business, Preston is investing more in this style of media to generate more content in future.
"It's just one of many reasons people love the new website. People are not only staying on the website longer, but reading more pages and engaging more with the content.
"The Ask the Experts Questions feature is extremely popular, and the likes of Tommy Pickering, Des Shipp, Lee Edwards and Lee Kerry are answering the queries of the public directly," he adds. "It's a unique feature - one of many more to come."
