One of the country’s top commercial anglers took time out this week to help a budding young fisherman suffering from a potentially life-threatening illness.
Jake Logan who suffers from Hunters disease asked Preston-backed Andy Findlay to ‘make his dreams come true’ and coach him in the art of bagging on a commercial for a day. And ‘The Fin’ didn’t disappoint, meeting 15-year-old Jake at Makins Fishery near Nuneaton for a special one-on-one fishing tutorial.
Under Andy’s expert guidance Jake put together an impressive bag of carp during his time on the bank, giving him a day he won’t forget for a long time.
Not only that, but at the end of the session Andy also presented Jake with a complete signed set of his DVDs, courtesy of Dave Wesson’s Fishing Films, along with a box of Fin Perfect Pellets.
