Preston Pro Type 510 Pole

This is Preston Innovation’s second generation of Pro Type poles, boasting many new features. Pole Fishing takes a quick look at the top of the line model in this range – the 510.

New for 2017 is the revised range of Pro Type poles, retaining all of the positives of the original range, but with plenty of advancements for natural and commercial anglers alike. Typified by the top of the range 510, these include being lighter, stiffer, more responsive and offering increased strength. Reinforcement and weaves in stress areas and joint alignment allow for optimum performance of the pole, while the Easy Ship finish allows a smooth glide through the hand at whatever length you’re targeting your quarry. The 510 is designed to be the ultimate all-rounder in this range, no matter what venue type you’re into – commercials, rivers or canals. Current Drennan Knockout Cup Champion Robbie Griffiths says: “It’s very light, responsive and a pleasure to use, even at full length.” All Pro Type poles are now fitted with PTFE bushes and Roller Pulla bushes and are supplied with protective tubes and a compact pole bag as standard.

• 16m Preston Innovations Pro Type 510 pole • 4 Roller Pulla Power kits • 1 match kit • 1 Kup Kit • 1 Kup and adaptor • 1 half extension In addition, all Pro Type poles in the range are fully interchangeable and we’d suggest that this model, the 510, is aimed at high-level club or match anglers wanting optimum performance for a sub-£1,000 price. In summary, it’s strong, light and responsive! • Length: 16m • Closed length: 1,800mm • Weight at 13m (8 sections): 1,030g • No of sections: 11
